Asunto: Seconded National Expert – DG CLIMA / road transport Unit
Dear colleagues,
We would like to inform you of the recent publication of a post of a Seconded National Expert (SNE) as policy officer to join the DG CLIMA Road Transport Unit.
He/she will be part of the team of colleagues responsible for the implementation and development of current and new legislation related to CO2 emissions from passenger cars, light commercial and heavy duty vehicles. This includes technical and economic analysis supporting the preparation and negotiations of new implementing legislation as well as the actual implementation of the current and recently revised legislation setting the post-2020 CO2 emission standards for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
We are looking for a person with economic, scientific or technical background with professional experience in the fields related to climate and/or transport policies.
The enclosed vacancy notices have been circulated to the Permanent Representations through the attached letter for dissemination to the various relevant Ministries in order to publish and generate possible applications.
